What are you putting in the dumpster?
Choose the material category that matches your load when you request a quote. The category affects pricing, and some items need confirmation before they can be loaded.
Current quote categories
- Concrete / Brick — Heavy material (overage likely).
- Construction Debris — Drywall, lumber, mixed jobsite debris.
- Household Junk — General cleanouts, furniture, misc.
A category is a starting point, not approval for every item in a mixed load. Describe anything unusual or heavy before booking.
Ask before loading special items
Contact NorthStar before loading liquids, chemicals, paint, batteries, tires, appliances, electronics, asbestos-containing material, or anything you believe may require special disposal. Tell us exactly what the item is so we can confirm whether it is accepted and whether separate handling is needed.
For concrete, brick, roofing debris, soil, or other dense loads, confirm the material category, amount, and loading instructions before delivery. Do not assume that filling the whole container is appropriate for a heavy load.
Weight allowance and loading
The rental plans include 3 tons, equal to 6,000 lb. Extra weight is charged under the rate in your quote. A larger dumpster provides more volume, not a larger included weight allowance.
Keep all material inside the dumpster and below the container sides. Leave the pickup approach clear. If you are unsure about the amount, an item, or a loading limit, ask before adding it so pickup can be planned correctly.
